An idea born from the everyday reality of parents
Children grow fast. Consequently, clothing that is still nice, functional, and capable of further use often accumulates at home. It is on this simple experience that Re-Kiddo builds its business model. Instead of complicated reselling between parents, it offers a way to give children’s pieces a second life more conveniently, safely, and with greater trust.
From the beginning, we perceived the project not only for its ecological dimension but also as a very specific answer to the needs of many families.
The investor environment as a test of clarity
A significant moment was Re-Kiddo’s participation in the Investor Day at the University of Hradec Králové. For the startup, this was not just an opportunity to present its project, but also to verify whether it could explain its intent concisely, convincingly, and clearly to people who view business through the lens of growth, markets, and scalability.
Such an experience is valuable for a young company primarily because it provides rapid feedback. It helps refine arguments, identify the project’s strengths, and better understand where the service can head next.
Marketing that can save time and open new possibilities
Another area where our paths crossed was marketing and the use of artificial intelligence. Re-Kiddo participated in the AI in Marketing networking event, where a number of practical questions were addressed: how to work better with content, how to communicate more effectively with parents, how to plan campaigns, or how to simplify everyday marketing routines.
This interest was followed by an internship focused on AI in marketing in cooperation with YDEAL, which we supported for the company. Thanks to this, Re-Kiddo was able to test new tools directly on its own topics, customers, and communication channels.
Visibility through the EDIH story
Re-Kiddo also became part of the filming of a promotional video for EDIH services. Its story clearly shows that digitalization and new technologies are not intended only for large companies or tech teams. They can also help young startups that address very practical needs of everyday life.
It is precisely through such examples that one can see how innovation can have a very human face. Sometimes it is not about a complex technological product, but about a smart service setup, better communication with customers, and the ability to grow without losing the original idea.
From the region to the national stage
A significant step forward for Re-Kiddo is also the opportunity to present itself in the national startup finals at Ynovate Fest. For the company, this means another opportunity to show its project to a wider audience, gain new contacts, and compare itself with other early-stage startups from Czechia and Slovakia.
For us, it is also confirmation that regional support makes sense if it can open doors for companies beyond the borders of the region. Re-Kiddo has a theme that is understandable, topical, and relatable to many people—and that is precisely why it can attract interest even outside its home region.

From the first pitch to further opportunities
Our cooperation with Re-Kiddo gradually connected several layers of support: investor feedback, education in the field of AI, a practical internship, media visibility, and the opportunity to appear on the national startup scene.
Re-Kiddo is an example of a startup that stems from an ordinary life situation but seeks a modern, sustainable, and scalable solution for it. And it is precisely such projects that we want to help at Plus inovace—so they can verify and strengthen their idea and get it to the people whose lives it will truly make easier.
