What personal data we process
For the purposes of the newsletter subscription, we process in particular:
- your e-mail address,
- information regarding the granting of consent to receive the newsletter,
- technical data necessary to document the granting of consent, such as the date and time of registration, or a record of subscription confirmation or cancellation.
We do not process any special categories of personal data.
Purpose of processing
We process your e-mail address for the purpose of sending news, invitations, and information related to the activities of Plus inovace / Královéhradecký Region Innovation Centre.
This may include, in particular, information about upcoming events, workshops, conferences, educational activities, calls, voucher programs, services for companies, startups, students, researchers, and other actors in the innovation ecosystem of the Královéhradecký Region.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e., the GDPR.
You grant your consent voluntarily by entering your e-mail address and clicking the “Subscribe to newsletter” button. We will not send you the newsletter without your consent.
Processing period
We will process your e-mail address for the duration of your consent, i.e., until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or otherwise withdraw your consent.
Data necessary to document the granting and withdrawal of consent may be kept for the period necessary to protect our rights and demonstrate compliance with legal obligations.
Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time.
Unsubscribing will be possible in particular:
- via the unsubscribe link provided in every e-mail sent,
- by sending a request to the e-mail address plusinovace@cirihk.cz.
The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Recipients of personal data
Persons authorized by the controller and potentially our contractual suppliers who provide us with technical solutions for e-mail distribution, website management, or similar services may have access to your personal data.
These suppliers may process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and to the extent necessary to provide the given service.
Transfer of personal data outside the EU
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union unless it is necessary in connection with the use of a technical solution for e-mail distribution. Should such a transfer occur, it will be ensured in accordance with GDPR requirements.

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have, in particular, the right to:
- request access to your personal data,
- request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- request the erasure of personal data,
- request the restriction of processing,
- object to the processing,
- request data portability, provided that the legal conditions are met,

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
