Textiles are not just about T-shirts. They represent new materials, innovative solutions, and interdisciplinary collaborations that we support at our events.

The Region’s Textile Domain

The textile industry is one of the traditional and strong sectors in the region. Within our textile events, we therefore create space for sharing experiences, transferring know-how, and seeking new innovative solutions.

Textile Industry Supporters’ Meeting

The Textile Industry Supporters’ Meeting is a professional community that connects companies, research organizations, schools, and public administration in the NUTS2 Northeast region. Regular meetings support the sharing of experiences, the creation of new collaborations, and the development of innovation in the textile sector.

The meetings create space for open discussion on topics that fundamentally influence the textile industry today. These include, in particular:

  • digitalization of production
  • sustainability
  • circular economy
  • development of new materials.

The program typically includes professional lectures, discussions, networking, and company excursions. It is these face-to-face meetings that help create an environment where new projects and partnerships between industry, research, and the educational sphere are born.

TEXCHEM – RegioTEX

One of the significant events within this community is the TEXCHEM – RegioTEX conference. This traditional professional meeting with international participation focuses on new materials, technologies, and innovations in the textile industry.

The program features professional lectures, discussions on current trends, research, and legislative changes, while also offering space for networking and sharing experiences among industry experts.

TexWaste

Another significant event is the TexWaste conference, which is dedicated to the topic of sustainability and the circular economy in the textile and clothing industry.

Participants from companies, academia, and public administration discuss topics such as ecodesign, extended producer responsibility (EPR), or the possibilities for collecting, sorting, and recycling textile waste.

Space for Sharing and Innovation

Textile events connect companies, research, and education, helping to create an environment in which new ideas and collaborations can emerge.

Regular meetings and the sharing of experiences help strengthen the competitiveness of the regional textile industry and prepare it for new technological and environmental challenges.
