What does talent look like today?
There are 20 of them. They are gifted, focused, result-oriented, but also empathetic, helpful, and witty. They rightfully belong among the TOP students of the TalentHUB+inovace 2026 Academy in the Hradec Králové Region. It might sound a bit like a cliché, but after the weekend retreat at the Broumov Monastery, the Plus inovace team—consisting of Rado Vejchoda, Aneta Kvášová, and Dominik Žitný—knows that in this case, these are not just empty phrases.

Value systems and entrepreneurship development within monastery walls
From Friday, January 16, to Sunday, January 18, we were able to observe how they function both as a group and as individuals, how original and complex their knowledge or skills are, and where their ambitions and visions are heading in the fields of science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Under the guidance of lecturers Jitka Kaplanová from the Character Development Centre and Tereza MORAVCOVÁ from YOU CAN BUSINESS, the talents developed projects reflecting their values and entrepreneurial spirit that a team of more experienced professionals would be proud of.
They are gifted, focused, result-oriented, but also empathetic, helpful, and witty.
A debate on goodness and real-world business experience
Even in the discussion with Jan Hábl, a leading Czech philosopher and pedagogue from the University of Hradec Králové, they held their own, contributing their insights to a fruitful debate on goodness, character, and their influence on individual successes and the development of the region, and by extension, society as a whole.

Jan Školník, founder of the Broumov Region Development Agency, perfectly captured the atmosphere of the weekend when he jokingly admitted that he would have to try damn hard to ensure his lecture on entrepreneurship had something to offer this group of talents.

Who among them will shape the direction of the region?
You might be wondering why this should interest you? The answer is simple—you might not meet all of them, but believe us, you will hear about at least some of them again, and perhaps one day they will significantly influence our lives within the region and beyond.

We believe in them, and within the TalentHUB+inovace Academy, we will strive to support their first steps on this journey to the fullest. That is also why individual mentoring of the talents with experts from the fields of science, technology, business, and creativity is already underway.
See you in Česká Skalice
And we are already looking forward to the next joint meeting in Česká Skalice at the end of February, which will test the next level of their teamwork.
